Although the team were more concerned with learning the circuit in the dark, interesting they qualified a higher position than daytime.
Lewis has been nominated to camp on site, making himself available as emergency backup driver throughout the night.
Obviously, if the car was to come in with a driver issue such as illness tiredness, the replacement driver needs to be ready to go.
Car #332 started P32 with 53 cars on the grid and finished 18th. Not testing hurt us a little, but another solid result and only one slight ‘rub’.
P8 in the 5 hour race was another really strong performance and that included the 1 minute Stop and Go penalty for exceeding track limits.
Lewis is hunting and diving U-Boats in the English Channel, Patterson will be attending to his greenhouse petunias and Martin is confined to crèche duties.
This may mean that you will still be questioned by well-meaning individuals in the future. You will have to accept that this is the price for such a name.
I am not quite used to a, to seeing cars like a, cars enduring, eerh, cars defending like that in, in an endurance race. But yeah, it was entertaining.
Like most cars on the grid, this was their first time racing in this challenge. The team was pleased that we attained P8 in the end.
